Seth Heller loves to be a-PAR-snip of the CNY Regional Market!

Immediately after finishing his degree at Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in 1980, Seth and his wife Deb, bought and opened Heller's Farm in 1983. While the two started out by raising grain and farming berries, and also honing some seriously impressive woodworking skills, Seth eventually shifted his focus solely to farming as he found it was easier to sell food than furniture.

Offering a wide range of produce including root vegetables, greens, mushrooms and apples, Heller’s farm also has a line of salsas, jams, pickles and even fresh fish. Seth explains that he loves to connect with his customers who are curious to learn about where their food comes from. He's continually impressed by the tremendous value of local food and products as such a marketplace allows shoppers to support the local economy and purchase fresher produce for their families.

On a weekly basis, the Heller team travels 90-miles to set up at the CNY Regional Market stating. "Everyone get’s up really early and works hard," said Seth who also confirmed his staff's work week ranges anywhere between 60-70 hours. Thankfully, he's able to enjoy a day off every once in awhile during the winter months. “We appreciate everyone coming out! The heat is on, the staff is great, the customers come out and shop - you can’t beat that!”
