Meet Melanie from Nicotra Farms! They’ve been in operation for at least 80 years and are located in Kirkville, NY. Their most popular varieties of produce include cucumbers, cauliflower, and greens but they offer a wide range of other vegetables such as eggplant, brussel sprouts, cabbage, and squash as well. Melanie’s favorite part of farming is handling the flowers which aren’t quite as labor intensive as vegetables and much more beautiful to look at.
