Pawsitivitea

Our tenant is PAWS-ITIVLEY amazing!!! 🐱

Opening in September of 2020 in the CNY Regional Market Commons, this unique business offers house-made baked goods and small business forced coffees and teas along with being a rescue facilitator. Working with Wayward Paw and Oswego SPCA, @pawsitivitea.cny provides a home-like space where customer can relax, pet some cats and even add a new member to your family. While adoption is not required, found and owner, Alisha Reynolds, expressed gratitude to all her customers as visitors can help socialize the shy guys and it also reduces one's stress. It's actually scientifically proven that petting cats can reduce stress!

A typical day for Alisha includes cleaning the cat lounge and then getting the cafe side going. Welcoming new visitors and explaining the rules. Alisha explains they have a small fee for entering the cat lounge, helping to cover supplies, and medical and business expenses.

Alisha is also extremely passionate about supporting small and local businesses. “They ROCK! Seriously, being able to share someone’s passion and appreciate the effort they put into their trade is an awesome feeling. Plus, things are less processed, theres a smaller carbon-footprint, and it supports the locals!
