Inspiration

Cheers to the friends we A-PEACH-IATE most! Bask in the midsummer warmth while enjoying this customer-curated frozen peach rosé slushy. Inspired by Half Baked Harvest, the taste of this light and refreshing drink has us craving rosé all day. Tried, tested, and enjoyed in Manlius, NY!

To freeze your own peaches, slice (and peel, if desired) then arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 4 hours or overnight. Use as directed in the recipe. For a stronger drink, add 1/2 to 1 cup vodka.

Ingredients

1 ripe peach, sliced

2-4 Tbsp honey or sugar

2-3 sprigs fresh thyme

1 bottle (750 mL) rosé or white whine

4 cups frozen peach slices

Method

  1. To make the peach thyme syrup: Bring 3/4 cup water, the fresh peaches, honey, and thyme to a boil in a small pot. Simmer 5 minutes, until the peaches are very soft. Remove from the heat and strain through a mesh strainer into a glass jar. Chill.

  2. In a blender, combine the frozen peaches, wine, peach thyme syrup, and 1/2 cup of ice. Blend until slushy. Add additional wine to thin.

  3. Pour into glasses and serve with fresh peach slices. Drink!
