Christine Roy, owner of Nonna’s Kitchen and Crafts, is BAKING the world a better place🍰🌎🧁

Baking alongside her parents since she was able to walk, Christine has an abundance of experience in the kitchen including working in restaurants and owning her own catering business. While Christine decided to return to college and end her catering journey, baking found her once again when her sister was diagnosed with celiac disease and she started to cook and bake gluten-free foods, treats...goods of all kinds. In recent years, Christine was diagnosed with MS and had to stop working full-time. So, she returned to what she knew and began to whip up goodies for friends and family around the clock. Tapping back into her entrepreneurial spirit, she launched her own baking business.

With fond memories of coming to the Market as a little girl and remembering how much she enjoyed it, it became the perfect location to start her new venture! “Covid was in full swing and I could not find a location to start my business. I have gone to the regional market since I was a little girl and enjoyed going every Saturday. I decided to start my business at the Market. I have loyal customers now that I look forward to seeing every weekend and hope to make a lot more!”
